Two months sleeping on couches and driving across my home state of Virginia. After I moved away in 2013, I never felt like I knew what made Virginia special. In 2019 I went back to explore the people and places that make the commonwealth unique. Unintentionally I ended up working the gates at a cattle auction one day and gained a huge appreciation for the farmers that make our country run. I also learned that young kids in the south love getting strapped to a pissed off bucking bull.
